hi web traveller! i'm glad you stumbled upon my page. i guess that, since you're here, you wanna know a bit more about me, right? great! as you may have noticed already (since i write it everywhere), my name is cacoreco, but you can call me caco. im a brazilian artist and newbie developer. i was born in january and am currently a teenager... or young adult... sadly... im pushing 20! that's worrying! anyways, i guess you could call me an artist? i like to play, read, draw, write and create cool stuff! also, i'm currently in college studying information systems, so i also enjoy coding. i'm still kinda bad at it, but i'm trying my best.

this awesome art of my sona was made by my awesomesauce friend aku, check them out! speaking of wich, this little green cat is my sona. they're just a silly lil guy that i created out of the blue. it doesn't have any deep meaning to it, i just really like cats, the color green, wear round glasses and a green vest... well, you get the idea.

i also loveee listening to music. i listen to a bunch of different genres but i specially like stuff that push boundaries and speaks to my soul . i own a small vinil collection and own a huge sound system that i love very much. physical media rocks!

also, i have a special place in my heart for old technology and retro stuff. i grew up with a slow and bulky desktop computer, and man, i had so much fun with that thing... when i was a kid, the internet was such a magical place , full of cool websites to explore and games to play (rip flash), but as i grew older, the magic of the internet began to fade away. everything became so ordinary, corporate, boring, standardized. as the internet became fully part of our lives, it turned into a product . and with that, a huge chunk of its soul was lost along the way.
sure, you could argue that part of the reason i remember the internet being so much cooler is because i was a kid, and everything is cooler when you're a kid. but i feel that same magic i felt so many years ago when i'm exploring neocities, seeing people's website designs and reading about them, it feels so amazing, so human . and thats why i'm here. i want to be a part of this, to make the internet a cool place again. to have actual fun on it, rather than just consuming the same algorithmic slop over and over again. the internet is such a cool extension of ourselves, and i want this website to be just that: a new way to express myself.
